PruCan X Baby!Reader: Chapter 2

"Birdie, vhy didn't jou tell me? I could've helped jou.."

Gilbert was not only shocked, but mad that his boyfriend Matthew had kept a secret like this from him.

"Ve've been going out for over four months now! Ve're supposed to tell each ozher everyzhing! Vhy vould jou keep zhis from me?!"

Gilbert's yells started to make the baby girl he was still holding cry.

"Stop it! You're making ______ cry!" Matthew shouted, which actually sounded more like whisper-shouting.

Gilbert tried to make the little girl, who was apparently named ______, calm down, but Matthew grabbed her before Gilbert could do anything.

"Calm down ______... Please.. for me?" Matthew's calm and soothing voice made ______'s cries slowly ebb away as Matthew rubbed her tiny back.

"Is zhat her name? ______?" Gilbert asked as ______ finally calmed down.

Matthew didn't even look at Gilbert, but said, "Oui.. It is..."

Gilbert frowned a little and turned Matthew's face toward him. He planted a quick kiss on his lips and sighed when he pulled back.

Matthew blushed, "What was that for?"

"Because zhe awesome me is sorry for jelling at jou and I haven't kissed jou in a vhile, so I needed zhat." Gilbert said with a small smirk.

Matthew smiled at his Prussian boyfriend and kissed him back.

"Non.. it's my fault for not telling you aboot ______. I should've told you about her since the day I found her."

"Found her?"

"Yeah. She was left on my doorstep aboot two weeks ago. It was late at night and someone was banging on my door. I went to see who it was, but nobody was there except for ______ wrapped up in blankets and laying in a basket. There was also a note attached to her that had her name and birthdate on it."

"And jou've been taking care of her ever since?"

"Oui. I didn't want to take her to an orphanage so, I decided to keep her and even get her a couple of things, but it's been a real pain having to do it alone..." Matthew frowned as he looked down at ______, who was sleeping in his arms.

"Vhy didn't jou just ask someone or even zhe awesome me to help jou out?"

"You know nobody can see me. And I didn't think you would want to help me out on something like this.." Matthew said looking back up at Gilbert.

"Of course I vould vant to help jou out Birdie! I don't care vhat it is I have to do, zhe awesome Prussia vill do anyzhing for jou!" Gilbert said with a big grin on his face.

"You really mean that?" Matthew said with a small smile.

"Of course.." Gilbert said as he placed a kiss on ______'s forehead. He looked up at Matthew and gave him a kiss too.

"Ich liebe dich, Birdie.."

"Je t'aime deux, Gil.."
